Unter dem Namen PASADENA NAPALM DIVISON finden sich die texanischen Thrashmetaller um D.R.I. Sänger Kurt Brecht und Mitglieder von DEAD HORSE zusammen, um der Szene auf ihrem ersten gemeinsamen Album ein wahres Thrash Metal meets Hardcore Feuerwerk zu liefern! Graviton / Rough Trade veröffentlichen das selbstbetitelte Debut am 24. Mai 2013.

Nachdem sich Dead Horse im Jahr 2011 dazu entschlossen, eine Pause einzulegen, flammte unter den Mitgliedern Martin, Sevall und Guyote prompt die Idee auf, ein gemeinsames Projekt mit Kurt Brecht zu initiieren.
Eine erste Show, damals noch unter dem Namen Crud Cutter, folgte und die Truppe produzierte unter dem Namen PASADENA NAPALM DIVISION ihr erstes Demo.

"This music makes sense for us. It's thrash-y and heavy. For me, the writing process resembled the process in D.R.I. It was super collaborative, and everybody was really on the same page." , so Brecht.

In den Music Lab Studios in Austin aufgenommen, konnte die Band für das 13-track lange Album auch Tony Foresta (MUNICIPAL WASTE) und Argo (DEAD HORSE) als Gastsänger gewinnen. Die erste Single "100 Beers with a Zombie" überrollt den Hörer direkt mit einer rotzigen Punkattitüde und gewaltigen Gitarrenriffs.

"It's about a lost weekend Scott spent with our roadie 'Zombie Ray' at his house. We try to tell stories within the landscape of fast, focused songs.

Working together with some of the members of Texas based cult band DEAD HORSE, we have come up with some hard-hitting tunes that span genres and will withstand the test of time. I can't wait to take the PASADENA NAPALM DIVISION machine on the road in support of our first LP on Graviton Music Services/minusHead Records."
