W.A.S.P. werden ihre für den Sommer bereits bestätigten Festivalauftritte nicht wahrnehmen können, wie die Band in einem Statement bekannt gibt. Grund der Absage sind Verzögerungen bei den Aufnahmen ihres Albums "Re-Idolized" und die Arbeit am "The Crimson Idol"-Begleitfilm, heißt es in der Pressemitteilung:
"W.A.S.P. REGRETS TO ANNOUNCE THE CANCELLATION OF THEIR UPCOMING SUMMER FESTIVALS: The recording of the new album "Re-Idolized" and the accompanying film for "The Crimson Idol" has developed unexpected delays. This will make it necessary for W.A.S.P. to withdraw from the 4 upcoming Festivals that were scheduled for this Summer.
